Racoons

 Well we think we were able to get the culprit behind the chicken killings. We locked the chickens up in the barn earlier and came inside to play games with the kiddos. We thought were heard some scratching noises around on the deck and sure enough this guy was out there eating the feed.

He sure looked well fed. Tom is in the process of skinning him.  We will hang his skin outside the coop so the others don't come looking for chickens. We have a friend who swears it works so we shall see! I really dislike raising a chicken to the point of it laying eggs daily just to have something come eat it! Uggg....
